What were your mediation outcomes/payouts?

I was recently unjustifiably dismissed from my job at a major hospitality franchise

I’m pretty nervous because I’ve never been through this before, I’m only 19, but I feel like I have a really strong pile of evidence backing me up

. my 90 day trial period was found to be invalid due to the fact I performed work that benefited the business before I signed my contract - my ex bosses confirmed this themselves by sending their botched employment process documents to my advocate

. they slashed my hours drastically with no consultation or notice (which I have screenshots to prove) despite me explicitly stating from the beginning (which I have written proof of) that I needed full time work of 30 hours or more and their own contract states they can’t drop hours without consulting the employee first

. they made inappropriate comments regarding the food I ate and my body while I was on break specifically “watch what you eat or you could get fat” and “I can’t with you and your sugar”

. I have dated text logs send to my partner/parents documenting the job was destroying my mental health and I was going home crying

. I have a recording of the termination meeting where my ex boss was speaking to me in a very cocky tone, smirking at me, interrupting me, and me leaving in tears

They’re refusing to cooperate and still acting cocky despite my employment advocate clearly outlining their wrongdoing and giving them multiple chances to settle privately - they even went as far as to accuse my mother of being violent when she dropped my uniform off for me which is a total lie, they have cameras in store pointing directly at the counter to prove they’re bluffing if push comes to shove but it was still frustrating

Most recently my advocate said to them our next instructions are to now prepare to formally file this with MBIE mediation, it’s been 13 days, they never replied to that

So I’m waiting on a mediation date and my advocate takes a 1/3 fee so I’m just hoping he aims for a decently high settlement

Anyone else who’s been through mediation, what was your situation, and what did you walk away with?
