Internal MacBook Pro Microphone not working

I am trying to fix my microphone I somehow muted it but I have no idea how to unmute it. I am in Audio Midi right now and it says it's muted but when I try to press unmute it does nothing. I have tried sudo kill core audio as well and that hasn't worked neither has restarting. I made another account on my MacBook and the microphone works there but it won't work on my main account and I'd rather not have to switch accounts for an issue like this. What should I do?
