Proof of service on used Lexus
I have the opportunity to buy a 2006 Lexus ES330 for $10,400. It has 70k miles and documentation for service in the carfax except for the most recent service performed by a at home mechanic with includes:
March 2026 (69,804): Timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, radiator, auxiliary belts, struts, and 2 tires replaced
Alignment performed
The only proof of this is a Microsoft word receipt and a timing belt sticker that was not on the car in the photos. What would you do? Is there a way to verify any of this without tearing apart the car?
