Korra writing a book

I could have sworn, way back before I fully watched Korra, having seen some *animated* scene with Korra where she decides that since the past lives were lost, she'd instead record her lessons for the next Avatar in a book, that each subsequent Avatar would assumedly also write in to kinda be the new tool for communicating with past lives. Have I just fully invented this memory? I finished the show and nothing like that happened
