Thinking of playing again

Classic

Hi, i recently played a bit of grand chase. I played a ton of it back in the late 2000s-ear'y 2010s, and i absolutely loved the game. Coming back into the steam version, i'm feeling a little bit torn on whether or not i want to dive deeper. The game feels fine and is just like i remembered.

I'm assuming there's a post like this every other day, so i applogize for the repetition. I don't remember how to navigate the currency, systems, and it all feels a bit overwhelming. I understand that it's a grindy game and i'm okay with that

Starting as a new player feels a bit lonely. I'm guessing it's like most MMOs where most people are in the endgame. I understand there's toxic people everywhere, but in general is the community friendly and okay with someone who's not a "major league gamer"?

My question is, is it worth re-visiting the game in 2026? Is the population healthy? Is the catching up grind doable on my own, or will i hit a wall?

Thabk you for taking the time to read this if you made it this far!
