Atrophy as a T side effect + what to do (not sure if I should mark as nsfw)

Hi, I've been experiencing bad atrophy and I've only been on T for four months. I was prescribed estradiol to deal with it but was not told how much to use. I researched and saw people use a larger amount at the beginning of using it, so I tried that. There was a lot of cream that did not absorb, so I've started using a lower dose and am currently using the lowest. Regardless the cream seems to not be absorbing and the pain is not getting better. Does anyone else have experience with this? It concerns me because I haven't been on T for very long at all. I cannot go to the doctor that prescribed it to me as I am now in a different state for 3 months and cannot get in touch with her. Thank you.
