I may have found the absolute worst Grand Hyatt in the world?

Its a category 2, located in Gurugram, India.

5-star hotels in India tend to be world class, but I have seemed to stumble upon one that turned that perception upside down.

Horrifically rude staff at check in, who tried to shame/guilt me into adding breakfast by expressing shock at how I could book without breakfast. Uh bro, I'm in your country to eat real Indian food outside.

The room smelt like paint fumes and gave me a headache instantly. Got that changed. Zero apology or explanation.

The carpet is stained in various places and lost all its color and wall panels are peeling (only a 4 year old hotel BTW).

The fancy Toto toilet button panel had a literal poop stain on it. And finger smudges all over.

No bathtub. No work desk or chair. Room covered in mirrors and designed like a maze. Almost brothel like.

Anyone else stay here? How was your experience?
