Ordering labs for self?

F&A ortho PA. I have some chronic nail fungus and want to pull the trigger and start terbinafine. I was going to call it in for myself, but also need baseline LFTs. Has anyone ever ordered labs for themself? I’m registered in our group’s EMR because I’ve seen another provider within the practice but not sure if that’s frowned upon. Or if asking PCP for an order is better?
