I feel like I’m living in a cycle of boredom with no real direction.

I’m in my first year of uni but I’m slacking and the entry courses aren’t directly related to what I want to do for a career so it’s just boring, tedious work.

I don’t have any friends. I used to drink and do drugs but quit everything after a psychotic break and bipolar diagnosis 3 years ago. Didn’t have anything left in common with my friends anymore so pulled back and ultimately those friendships ended. I don’t have hobbies, nothing interests me, is affordable, and/or I just don’t have the energy.

I’m single and I love being single but my only real ex (from 4 years ago🤦‍♀️) just got back with his first gf and I’m kinda hurt but idk why.

We spoke on the phone for the first time since breaking up a month ago and he wanted to get coffee, I said no and it ended there. I don’t even want to be with him (or date at all atm), but I think I thought we were each others ‘right person, wrong time’, guess she was actually that for him.
Just now saw a pic of them smooching on insta lol, idk when exactly they got back together.

I’ve just started seeing a therapist and it seems all my issues are related to my lack of decent sleep but it’s something I’ve dealt with forever, so feels like I’ve just hit a repeated wall.

House prices are impossible to afford in my country, but I don’t want to leave. I don’t want kids, have no energy to make friends, not enjoying uni, don’t want to date. It just feels like I’m here living a loop and for what. (I’m not suicidal, just real bored and maybe a tad depressed)

Sushi for a snack today 🍱
