Is it worth turning standard operating procedures (SOPs) into interactive tasks?
Our team has a solid repository of documented processes, but we are facing a classic problem: when people need to learn a new workflow, they completely glaze over reading standard docs or clicking through a Notion page.
I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the time investment to change how we deliver this info. I keep seeing advice about moving toward micro-learning or gamified tasks, but building custom interactive paths manually sounds like a full-time job in itself.
For those who have moved away from basic static documentation to more active, task-based training for your team, did you see a noticeable drop in user error and repetitive questions? Or did it just add more software overhead to your tech stack?
