Camping vs. Staying Nearby

A group of friends and I (6-8ish in total), are planning to go to Elements for the first time this year. I am only going to be able to go Friday and Saturday because of work but the rest of them want to stay all 3 days.

I know you’re unable to buy camping passes if you buy single day passes but what are the major pros/cons of staying in the camping areas over a hotel/airbnb or a place nearby? For context, myself and other members of the group I’ll be going with have been to a few smaller and mid-sized festivals before but have always stayed at hotels or Airbnbs when attending. We have ample camping gear so it’s more of a convenience and vibes/experience thing if we were to stay at the camping areas.
