There was a time in my life when, upon seeing a cute woman, I'd immediately check her hands for a ring. This, I thought, meant that I'd finally grown up -- I was old enough to recognize that potential partners were of an age to be engaged, if not married. I'd see a ring; I'd move on.

And then I grew up a little more. Perhaps it was making out with the goth married woman from my workplace one drunken night; perhaps it was getting married myself and yet still checking out the women in yoga pants at the grocery store. Regardless of the reason, I realized that engagements --and marriages -- don't necessarily exclude possibilities. They only make things a bit simpler. Variety is the spice of life, after all, and even the strongest marriages get stale after a bit.

That realization has led to some fun times here. To speaking with men who know they don't fulfill their wives; to speaking with the wives themselves; to stage directing couples to do some filthy things in ways and places they wouldn't have otherwise. But at the heart of it is a simple fact: I've come to lust for taken women. For a woman who will keep her ring on while she drops to her knees; a woman who has a husband to get home to, if he's not watching from the corner. For a woman who longs to be taken like she was -- or should have been -- before life got so stable. Cheating, hotwifing -- as long as she's taken, I'm there.
