Nerve reinnervation?

Hey all! I recently had a top surgery consult with a surgeon that is trained in nerve reinnervation which preserves sensation in the nipple. This is a relatively new technique and I was wondering if anyone on this sub has had this done. The surgeon told me that hypersensitivity is very common and difficult for some patients to deal with so I’m having a hard time deciding if it would be worth it for me. Thanks for any and all advice!
