Our Triumphant Return and Future Plans

Hello everybody!

It's been a crazy few years but I finally graduated college, got married, and moved out of my parents' house! It's been a wild few years but I am back, there's a new mod for this sub, and we are ready to finally get this community off the ground in earnest!

I'm excited to talk about what the future holds for the sub: In short, there is already a furry dating sub, so we are focusing wholesale on the platonic/group side of things.

Longer explanation:

We'll be putting together a big list of furmeets and other gatherings by state, which we'll be hopefully posting on the sub wiki sometime in the coming weeks. It may take a while to be fully developed, and we obviously cannot capture everything. If you host a furmeet or group, please message one of the mods so we can send you the google form and added to the list! We will also be compiling a separate list of conventions and other big gatherings for those who are interested!

I'll also be pinning a permanent link to a google form where you can apply to have your discord server added to our upcoming "furry discord server megapost" which will be posted once we have a good handful of applications. For the sake of keeping everything safe and firmly platonic, no NSFW servers of any kind are allowed, and active moderation is mandatory. You are also required to have a permanent invite link.

Anyone who is looking for something specific, be it a furry RP partner, friend, tabletop group, or a gaming buddy, is welcome to make their own thread. I will also be starting a rotating cycle of megathreads which will be monthly (this may move to weekly if we manage to get more popular).
