Maps update is almost unusably bad

general Question

Haven't seen any other posts addressing this directly, but this can't just be me? Main issue is that the map jumps randomly when letting go of mouse button/finger, can be anywhere from a little bit to flinging you literally to the other end of the state. The maps have been made nearly unusable for me on both computer & phone, and genuinely makes me wonder whether a single person tested this update before rollout.

Believe this was complained about before, but legibility is much worse than before as well due to the hillshade overlay.

3D is now paywalled. Disappointing but par for the course for strava, this kind of stuff is why I cancelled my premium long ago.
