P226 xfive trigger

Hey i am trying to install the AC dual adjustable trigger in my x five and am STRUGGLING for some reason I can not get the trigger pin to slide through the little trigger adjustment block that sits in front of the trigger. I have tried adjusting it, I have tried using a slave pin, I have tried hitting it with my purse. None of the videos show that adjustment block and I am a bit stuck. Any suggestions?
