Need toy ideas for a cat who's OBSESSED with wired earbuds.

This girl is drawn like a magnet to these earbuds. If I set them next to me she'll start hunting them. She's grabbed them and tried to escape on several occasions. Listening to music with her in my lap is a high-risk activity.

I can't let her gnaw through my earbud cord, as much as I love her, but does anyone have good ideas for something that might trigger the same part of her lizard brain?
