Silent API update almost one year after green card approval — anyone else?
My EAD/AP combo card and I-485/green card were approved and closed around a year ago. I had no pending applications left.
Today, June 2, 2026, I noticed a new top-level updatedAt date in the USCIS API for all three of my old applications: I-485, I-765, and I-131. There was no new event code like FTA0, no new notice, no RFE, no document, and no action required — just a silent API update at the top level.
I am from one of the 39 countries affected by the recent USCIS hold/review policies, so I’m trying to understand whether this is just a system/API refresh, a broader batch update, or possibly related to the new vetting/re-review process / Atlanta Vetting Center. I’m not saying that is definitely what it means — just trying to compare data points.
If you already had your I-485/green card approved and closed, could you please check your USCIS API and comment whether you also received a silent update recently?
It would be helpful if you can include:
Were your cases already approved/closed, or is anything still pending?
Which forms updated? I-485, I-765, I-131, etc.
Are you from one of the 39 countries? Just “yes/no” is enough.
What is the top-level updatedAt date?
For anyone who doesn’t know how to check: log in to your USCIS online account first, then open this uscis link in the same browser and replace IOExxx with your receipt number:
https://my.uscis.gov/account/case-service/api/cases/IOExxx
Look at the top-level updatedAt field near the beginning of the JSON. Don’t rely on old event timestamps, because those can be confusing.
