BJJ is teaching me to think more my health/injuries

I started doing BJJ, and I'm learning that there's a lot I've been missing in my adult life. A lot of this sport has me addicted the sparing, learning from being beat, and evolving. Lucky to find instructors who are willing to let me film the private lesson, I watch it throughout the day while I work. It's been really healthy. Kids are interested in bjj, we have a little mat at home 10x10, and its been a saver. I know that these injuries in Bjj will come and go, they are healing faster, previous pain is starting to fade. Lowering ego and talking to people is good, especially in combat sport, if I'm not honest I'm setting myself up to be hurt more. It's bee good. i take this around me in other parts of life.
