Is BVLA/Buddha Jewelry really worth it?

I’m trying to understand—there are many etsy/boutique/diamond companies (eg: mejuri) that sells 14k with lab diamond earrings for the same price, or sometimes lower, than what Buddha jewelry or BVLA is selling their 14k gold pieces with CZs. what am i missing here? Asking because I’m debating if I should just pierce my helix with standard titanium and changing them out after, or stick to Buddha/BVLA to get a prettier piece.

This will be my first cartilage piercing, currently have two lobe piercings on both ears. Thanks for your help!
