DMD FRIENDSHIP SEASON 4???

Ever since the DMD lne up 2026 announcement, I've been thinking a lot about DMD Friendship Season 4 lately and I'm honestly wondering if it's even happening. It feels like there's still so much potential left in the concept, especially with contestants who never really got the chance to find a partner or fully showcase themselves. If Season 4 does happen, do you think DMD would bring back some of those participants for a second chance, or would they focus entirely on introducing new faces? I personally think a mix of returning and new participants could make the season a lot more interesting and give fans someone familiar to root for while still keeping things fresh.

One thing I'm especially curious about is Thee and Wave. Considering how big TheeWave seems to have become both internationally and domestically, do you think DMD would make them an official pairing right away, or would they still go through the usual DMD Friendship process like everyone else? I can honestly see both possibilities. Their popularity is already there, so from a business perspective it would make sense, but at the same time DMD might want to let things develop naturally and see how things play out on screen before making anything official. If Gen 5 does make an appearance in Season 4, I'm definitely rooting for PungNick, TheeWave, and MatPete. They all seem to have a lot of potential, and I'd love to see more of them.

This might be me being completely delusional, but I'm also low-key hoping PhuphaJames somehow becomes a thing. 😭 Whether that's realistic or not is another question, but a girlypop can dream. Overall, I'm really interested in hearing everyone's thoughts and predictions abt this.
