Rainy Day Promise

Rainy Day Promise

The rain taps softly on the glass,

As silver clouds above drift past.

The world slows down, the air feels new,

And every drop sings something true.

The trees stand still and drink the sky,

While little rivers wander by.

The earth is washed, the dust is gone,

Preparing quietly for dawn.

A rainy day is not the end,

But nature's way to heal and mend.

For after clouds have had their say,

The sun still waits beyond the gray.

So if the sky is dark today,

And gentle showers fill the way,

Remember: flowers need the rain

To bloom in beauty once again.
