Own physical disc but still wants me to purchase game??

I'm a long time Xbox user so I have no idea how Playstation consoles work. I recently purchased a CODMWII disc, inserted it, started the copy and waited until all downloads were done. Went to the COD launcher and tried to launch MWII only for it to bring me to the PS Store and says I need to purchase it for $109?! Restoring licenses didn't work, ejecting and reinserting the disc etc etc. I'm currently redownloading everything to see if that will fix it. Has anyone else experienced this and know what's going on???
