Having a disabled parent is so hard

Family

When I was 10 my father had the type of stroke where a part of your brain bleeds, and hes never been the same. I feel bad to say this but I feel like my father died that day. Its been 6 years and I'm so tired and disgusted. He cant do hygiene properly or think properly or make decisions and its so hard. I was helping him shave and he opened his mouth and his tongue was just completely orange. I genuinely threw up bc I get grossed out by things really easily. And my aunt the person we both live with is really mean to him despite him just not having the brain capacity to think properly anymore, he doesnt brush his teeth, he barely showers, he shits his pants constantly and isnt even aware of it. I dont even know what to do. I love him but I just feel so bad. I only moved in with him again recently and I've barely seen him for the past years. I used to want him to live with me in the future but I cant do it I'm just not equipped mentally and physically to take care of someone like that. He used to be the one taking care of me. We were so close and he was genuinely the best dad ever and I lost that. And years before he moved in with my aunt he was so much better and could have basic conversations. But his brain deteriorated so much by sitting in a chair watching tv all day, thats all he does. I dont even know what to do. I want my dad back.
