Just received the Universal Baller V2, the head fits too tight in the coil

I was doing the initial burn-off at 650 F, and the head got stuck in the coil. I had to wait until it cooled down to get it out. I know the coil can be adjusted wider, I just need to know the best way to do it without damaging the coil.

Even at around 300 F it gets stuck.

When the coil and head are cold, the head drags when trying to remove it from the coil but it does come out.

I don't want to adjust it any more than I have to, but has anybody had this problem and fixed it without damaging the coil?
