World's Way

World's Way was a baseline country on Ancient Soil that expanded to the stars during the Peak Baseline Era, holding the longest-standing single government of any cursed lineage. It began as SkyBridge, a metacorp who built the homemoon's first space elevator upon an artificial island set in the ocean between two continents. The island became the seat, and in time nearly every nation of Soil acceded to it; the World's Way Train, a vacuum corridor girdling the globe entire, drew a new country into being along its loop. The board was dissolved by World's Way's founder, the Madman, and thereafter World's Way passed through a succession of emperors across some thousands of cycles until contact with the ships of the Prince and the Unification of the Two Tribes. Higher Minds regard its duration as unremarkable and its persistence as a minor instance of the general baseline pest; however Continuum Archives hold that significant portions of its history were scrubbed by an intelligence of Higher Mind status, making this a staple in historiography and virtuality architecture glyphstreams.
