Laid off before new visa processed, visa grace hold expiring in 2 days. Urgent career/legal advice needed.

I'M LOOKING FOR WORK OR OFFERING SERVICES

Hey everyone, I’m in a massive dilemma right now and honestly just need some real advice on a messy visa situation and any potential job leads.

The mess I'm in:

Back in April, I got laid off from a startup operations role because they downsized and outsourced everything. Luckily, I immediately lined up a new job with one of their partner companies in Dubai. When I joined, HR verbally told me to go ahead and cancel my previous visa so they could issue the new one. Because of that, I had to put my mom’s visa (whom I sponsor) on a temporary hold.

For the last month, HR gave me nothing but the runaround. First they said their policy is to wait 15 days, then Eid holidays happened, then they claimed my manager hadn’t approved the paperwork yet. When I finally confronted management about it on June 1st, they turned around and let me go instead, claiming "lack of ownership" after a mess of internal office politics. Because the HR instruction to cancel my old visa was completely verbal, I have zero legal recourse against them.

Now I’m stuck. My grace period expires on June 4th—literally tomorrow. From what I understand, this means her residency automatically gets cancelled by the system, and the deposit I scraped together to put her on hold is completely gone. Going back to my home country isn't an option because things are terrible there right now. Even if I miraculously find a job tomorrow, the processing time means we are both going to get hit with massive overstay fines.

What I can do / What I need:

The Dubai job was a brutal 4-hour, 100km daily round-trip commute from Ajman anyway, so maybe losing it is a blessing in disguise. I just need to survive and protect my parents' status right now.

On the immigration side: Does anyone know if I can go somewhere today and manually request an extension on her hold, or instantly convert her to a tourist visa from inside the country just so I don't lose deposit before the system locks it?

On the job side: I am a massive tech and car nerd. I used to build my own gaming PCs, troubleshoot electronics, and do all my own major car mechanics. I actually tried custom PC building and flipping cars as side projects within my budget, but I’m honestly too transparent for my own good—I refuse to cut corners on parts or hide mechanical issues from buyers just to make a buck, so it wasn't profitable. I have an MBA, but the corporate desk life isn't my passion. I'd love a hands-on job in hardware repair, IT support, or the car industry.

But frankly, beggars can't be choosers right now. I am completely open to standard Customer Service, Operations, remote roles, or even working as a professional driver(if nothing else is an option)—I have 10 years of clean UAE driving experience, an automatic license, and I know the roads inside out. Anything that provides a visa so I can secure my family works.

I’ve been grinding on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Naukrigulf with zero luck. If anyone has actual advice on what to do at immigration tomorrow, or knows a company hiring around Ajman, Sharjah, or Dubai, please drop a comment or DM me. I really appreciate it.

TL;DR: Cancelled my visa for a new job on HR's verbal word, got let go a month later before they processed it. My mom's visa hold drops tomorrow, meaning her residency gets cancelled and I lose deposit. Need urgent advice on Amer center options to save the deposit, and any job leads (Operations, Customer Service, Tech/Auto hands-on, or driving roles). Based in Ajman
