Need help with Bosch Dishwasher that won’t start without Gerry rigging it.

We are having an issue with our Bosch SHPM65Z55N/20. It will not run unless we clamp the door shut.

We bought a new latch assembly and replaced it, that did not work. We have taken out all the drawers to make sure that they are not jamming anywhere. We took apart all the seals cleaned them and put them back, still did not work.

I have tried to look up a million things on YouTube, Google and AI but none of them seem to have any issues like this.

I am hoping that someone on here might have come across this before or knows something that we have not tried or been able to find.
