They shouldn't be doing remakes

I was hyped for the faye game, with a mindset that this is an in-between, spin off story while the mainline game has been in the works since Ragnarok and would release a couple years after this. But now it appears like we're not getting an actual kratos game until 2050, surely sidelining kratos to make 2d games and remakes is a waste of resources?
