How do I play steam games offline on the ROG Ally?

I'm not a computer person and I'm new to steam and this device. Got it for my birthday and it's awesome so far. I'm going on a trip soon and would like to play the games I have without having to connect to the internet.

I see the offline mode in steam but it's greyed out. Any suggestions?

Thank you!
