Opinions on apt short list

Relocating & housing

I'm single 30s moving to Dallas from Louisville, KY. My job shifts around a lot, should stay in the DFW area but could be in Arlington, Richardson, Forney, Dallas proper, etc.

I'd like to experience Dallas, but still save money. I haven't lived in a walkable city or city with real public transportation in a while, so I might like that, but I'm used to the car. My main hobbies are dance and music, and I like local bands and dance/theater performances. (Is there anything like a Shakespeare festival in the park?) I grew up inside but being near green spaces that I could occasionally hike would probably boost my sense of wellbeing by a lot. I love food. I'm excited for ethnic grocery stores. I'm queer.

Here's my short list after touring a bunch of places, all 1 bd 1 ba. Would welcome your feedback if you please, thank you! Also let me know about places In likely to enjoy hanging out.

Apologies for formatting on mobile.

  1. Knox Henderson area, $1000 base rent, shared laundry, cooled by window units, all parking is off street and covered.

  2. Vickery Meadow area, $845 base rent, shared laundry, painted exposed brick, limited covered parking for $25 per month.

  3. Medical District/Oak Lawn, $1175 base rent, in unit laundry machines, reserved non covered parking spot.

  4. North Dallas (ish?), $1150 base rent, shared laundry, open kitchen layout, lots of non covered parking.

Thanks!
