Managing storage for the new trader is working as intended

I see several people suggesting that there should be a way to gradually pay the caravan trader, similar to how you do with projects. I don't think that's what Embark intended. Obviously, I can't read their minds, but the trader is there to act as an inventory sink as much as a reason to farm Arc and frustrate PvE lobbies where you can't loot your own kills, because all the little ants swarm and take everything (there's a solution to this last part, but you're not going to like it).

I think forcing you to clear your inventory to make room for a huge collection of Arc stuff is absolutely part of the plan. They're trying to get us rich raiders to stop sitting on our dragon hoards.

Creating a down payment system would make the trader a grind-only feature, and not a "clear out that stuff you haven't touched in months" feature.
