Holy mixpacking (And hacking?) on officials
I think this genuinely just ruined my friends desire to play w me.
So I'm relatively new to this game and haven't had too many "sus" experiences, and I've been introducing my boyfriend and buddy to this game and I figured officials are fine to introduce base mechanics to them without having to explain save-slots and all the other fluff that comes with unofficials. We got a nest going and got our buddy in, so it was two adult ceras and a juvi.
We just wandered around on US-13 for HOURS and saw nobody aside from 2-3 babies. LOTS of already dead players but never alive ones even along delta and at the bridges. Very quiet, plentiful AI. I'm shooting the shit with my trio and explaining the diet mechanic a little better to them
Had a ptera flying around us around delta and we just kinda kept moving and didnt bother him when he landed, saw the indicator for a large pack nearby on the compass and went the opposite direction because I know what that usually means.
We stop for a drink and Another Cera shows up across the water and is motioning that hes friendly with us, a pachy also nearby, only for 3 prime elder crocs to jump us from the water. Keep in mind: neither the other cera nor the pachy were bothered despite also being near the water. This was 3 fully grown, prime elder crocs.
As soon as one of us is dead and the other 2 are healing, a prime t-rex shows up blocking our path, knowing already exactly where we are hiding, ignores the pachy, crocs, other cera and comes for us.
Then I got away and my game coincidentally crashes after HOURS of playing. I haven't ever had my game crash outside of horde-test so far. I'd been playing for hours with no issues.
Can't get back into the server bc its full, lost a prime elder cera I was about to entomb. <:)
So yea, just be careful of US-13 I guess lol.
