JIBC Fall 2026 vs Columbia Winter 2027 PCP Program

Hey everyone,

I was recently accepted into the JIBC PCP program starting in Fall 2026. Prior to that, I had already been accepted into Columbia's PCP program starting in Winter 2027.

I'm trying to decide which route to take and would appreciate hearing from people who have attended either program.

One thing that's making the decision difficult is that I recently got an opportunity to work a casual job that I've been trying to get for quite a while. My original plan was to work full-time through the summer and fall to save as much money as possible before starting PCP school, since I know working during the program can be challenging.

Being able to continue working at least somewhat throughout the program is important to me financially.

For those who attended JIBC or Columbia:

- How manageable was it to work while in the program? And how did the one-week-on, one-week-off schedule work out for employment?

- Did you find employers were willing to accommodate the schedule?

I still have a couple of weeks to decide, but I would appreciate any of your insight.

Thank you!
