Pottery stamp?

Has anyone ever used a pottery stamp for wax seals? My sister-in-law asked me to make seals for their wedding. I offered to take care of everything, since I have a go to person on Etsy for custom stamps, but she insisted on doing it herself.

She ended up purchasing a pottery stamp for $45. In summary, I’m frustrated haha I don’t see a way this could work… has anyone ever used a pottery stamp for wax seals? Is it possible? Any suggestions? TIA!
