My friend wants to go to pride with people and i wanna go

so my friend wants people to go to pride with him and i want to go, 1, it would be my first pride event, 2, he is my friend. but he is the only person i am out to currently. so if i go my whole family would most likely know. which i dont want them to know because im scared and it would be uncomfortable.

i cant really have people know because a lot of people i know are homophobic and dont like it. i just want to be brave.
