41 [M4F] #California open to #online - Star Wars, board games, grilling in the back yard, looking for that person who makes my heart sing

Greetings from California! Freshly 41 and really loving this chapter. Single for 2 years, not dating, never married and no human kids (cat daddy).

Spent the last few years really sacrificing (full
Time work and full time school). Moved during Covid to a little-big city and recently relocated to a place I really love.

I’m a Star Wars guy for sure. Dungeon Crawler Carl may be giving that a run for the money. Those books have got me back into reading which has been nice. Still haven’t been to Galaxy’s Edge. I’m a bad fan haha. But I do have Star Wars tattoos soooo

I have played a lot of D&D, but mostly pathfinder now. I was lucky and found a friend who constantly brings me back into the games when I drift away. Boardgames love! My core group gets together 1-3 times a month. This Friday it’s at my place and I’m gonna bbq some chicken and sweet potatoes. See test run in the pics!

I play video games from time to time. Longest played game on steam is Stardew Valley with Fallout 76 being second. Played a ton of modded Minecraft from FTB until like 2024ish. Played a ton of JRPGs as a kid, along with a handful of random snes, 64 and PlayStation games.

Music I’ve got a range. It’s very mood based and ranges from Tool, Rage, NIN to Wu, nas, Kendric , to Daft Punk, broken bells, and so on. Music not even in my own language or with words. I’m sure there are genres I don’t appreciate, but just not my taste. Don’t need to connect with someone over music, but I’ll dance my ass off in the kitchen for you and your tunes.

I was a chef for a bit. I worked in ag for the majority of my life but got into the non-profit world during covid. That lead me to my job I’m in now that I adore and enjoy doing. I’m lucky, lucky in a lot of things. But lacking in having someone to share it with. The hard grind is over and I’m enjoying the fruits of my labor.
