Last week I sold a lot of 4 Nova Deruta plates. $39 calculated shipping. I packaged them in the usual way. Each plate in bubble wrap. Tape around the bubble wrap. Styrofoam sheets on bottom and top. Newspaper for void fill. Box was pretty solid. On friday, the same buyer bought my other lot of 4 plates plus 4 salad plates as well. $79 calculated shipping. The second box went out on monday.

Today, this morning, i received this message with the photos. In the middle of writing my first reply I suspected it was AI. Look at those plates. I asked for different pics, and she sent me zoomed in of the same angle of the plates. It took me all day to figure out how I wanted to respond. I sent out the last message late on Tuesday, and within 2 minutes she sent that reply. Now I think she is a bot. No one writes that fast.

You know this is the second time I got AI destroyed item pics. The first time it happened, it was for a very specific air filter that had been sitting on my shelf for 2 years and I was barely making a profit on. I thought it was AI (how would it have gotten burned AND covered in oil in the first place?) but I decided to just send him my only replacement so I could zero it out and not have to sell those air filters ever again.

In the time i wrote this post, she sent me more messages and opened a return. These are AI right? I’m not crazy?

Did I handle this right? AI broken plates
