[Lyrics] Hate Speech

[Verse 1]

With anger and contempt

I’m screaming out

“Tax the rich”

I have this “pure class envy”

And I wanna wage war

On success

Our billionaire rulers say that

We should be grateful

And questioning their concentrated wealth

Should be condemned as hateful

[Verse 2]

The one percent owns as much wealth

As the bottom ninety combined

Fifty-five trillion dollars

While children starve

And they say this is fine

Our billionaire rulers say that

We should be grateful

And questioning their concentrated wealth

Should be condemned as hateful

[Chorus]

I have this “pure class envy”

And I wanna wage war

On success

With anger and contempt

I’m screaming out

“Tax the rich”

This is hate speech.

Tax the rich

This is hate speech

Tax the rich

This is hate speech

Tax the rich!
