Neighbour’s Cat issue
For some time now my neighbour’s cat has been coming into our semi wild garden. It often preys on mice and birds and we often find the remains of a carcass of some description or other. I often stroke the cat and he’s very friendly but for some time now my neighbour believes I am now feeding it.
I never buy or have ever brought cat food as I won’t have it in the house but over the last year or so, we fell out with our neighbour over this. Yesterday at around 1:30pm we had a knock at the door and two policemen standing waiting for us to answer. My elderly mother answered the door and apparently our awful neighbour had the audacity to ring the police to tell them we were feeding it. My mother had to physically explain that we don’t feed the thing and that it often catches birds much to my mother’s annoyance.
We are now completely ignoring our neighbour or indeed anything they now complain over and this is the finally straw. I’m resorting to purchasing a cat repellent product, I don’t want to have to do this but I have no choice to keep it out of our garden. I cannot believe police found the time to come and question us over this issue and I will never forgive my neighbour for doing so.
