I reconnected with my cousin, and it's been really nice

They reached out to me the other day to say that they missed me, and also to tell me that they identify as nonbinary these days. It turns out we actually have a lot in common, and it's been really nice chatting with them every day.

Unfortunately, the reason that they reached out is because my mother, whom I had explicitly told was the only one I was coming out to, has been telling the rest of my family that I am trans. So that's... less nice. I'm still processing how I feel, I guess. I had therapy today, but talking about my feelings is difficult for me, especially when I don't really know what they are yet exactly. Writing things down and talking about them online often helps me.
