No use crying over spilled milk
But spill the salt, suddenly luck is involved

Strange… because doesn’t milk nourish,
while salt merely seasons.

Why would the salt carry more meaning?

Now that I’m older,
I’m sure to gather every grain.
Because milk can spoil,
while salt preserves.

Centuries of tiny crystalline cures
…you can get more milk from any pasture.

I’d mistaken myself for just a curd
