Why in the world was everyone saying Mornye S1 wasn't needed?

Im super upset by the fact that almost everyone kept downplaying Mornye's S1 for Lucy's team everytime someone would ask.

I understand we didn't have too much info or calcs, but geez dude I had enough corals for S1, but didn't get it because all the subs kept saying it wasn't worth it.

Now I have to probably wait another 3-4 banners before he next rerun, what a drag.
