Flipnote Studio white screen freeze on hiyacfw

Recently modded my Nintendo dsi. It is a Japanese model and I installed hiyacfw along with hiyalang. I also kept the region JP but since I used hiyalang most things are in English. One thing I noticed was that when trying to open flipnote it goes to a white screen then freezes, making me have to force turn off the handheld.

I was curious on what is going on. Do I need to redownload flipnote or do something else? Or is there no fix to this.
