Q on LDN and pain meds

Tl;dr- Does anyone have experience using pain meds (sparingly) while on LDN?

Long version- I had to come off LDN after surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome, and have restarted the LDN. However, I still occasionally have pain severe enough to justify occasionally using pain meds, and I'm wondering if anyone else has been in this situation, and what your experience was.

I know there's at least a theoretical possibility of either the pain meds being less effective, and/or the LDN triggering withdrawal symptoms. I just don't know if it actually happens.

For reference, I'm on 3mg LDN for this week, and returning to 4.5mg next week. For pain meds, it would be maybe 5mg per day of the one that rhymes with "like-o-den".
