I am on a GLP1 and have been since Dec 2022. In March I started a new birth control, the patch, and beginning of April I started having migraines with aura and tingling in my arms and legs. One day my arm got so heavy I thought I was having a stroke. I stopped the birth control but the symptoms have persisted. My doctor did a ton of bloodwork and suspected B12 deficiency because of the GLP1. Blood came back with a level of 350 and doc says if I’m in range she’s not concerned but I can’t get over how textbook my symptoms are, especially the canker sores. I haven’t had a canker sore in 15 years and randomly got one early April, one last week, and THREE this morning.  I have MRIs scheduled and an apt with a neurologist. I’m petrified of possibilities of a neurological condition like MS.

I guess my question is, even though 350 is in range could it still cause deficiency symptoms? Multivitamins tend to break me out so I’m wondering if just a b12 vitamin will do the trick? I asked my doc this and she stated since I’m in range she’s really not concerned and referred me to neurology.

Sore mouth

Tingling in leg, hands, feet 

Numbness in fingertips

Zaps in face, arms, legs

Brain fog

Balance issues

Vertigo

Irritability 

Anxiety through the ROOF

Fatigue

Right eye blurred vision (kinda comes and goes)

Ringing in ears

Pain in ears

I’m having ALL the symptoms but Dr says I’m not deficient
