Specific fic search: Post-tuna scene (Shane POV / single chapter)

Please help me find a specific Heated Rivalry fic! 😭 I’ve been combing through AO3 but just can’t seem to find it. I’m pretty sure it was published this year (2026). It's a single-chapter English one-shot, written entirely from Shane's POV.

The plot diverges around the infamous canon "tuna scene." Shane shows up at Ilya's place feeling completely miserable and ready to break things off for good. He's tired of pretending he's not in love with Ilya and can't stand hearing about other women anymore.

Here are the specific details I remember: The Instagram incident: A few months prior to this scene, Shane was waiting for Ilya at his apartment, but Ilya stood him up because he went out drinking at a bar with friends. Shane only found out because he saw it on another player’s Instagram story.

The couch scene: During their confrontation, Ilya steps away to take a phone call from his dad. While waiting on the couch, Shane finds a pair of women's underwear buried in the cushions, which completely breaks him.

The ending: Shane tries to leave, but Ilya stops him right at the door. Ilya is crying, confesses that he loves Shane, and says he’s deeply sorry for causing him so much pain. He promises there will be no more other women. Shane ultimately believes him. They spend the night together, but the smut itself is fade-to-black / not explicitly described.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? If you have the link or remember the title/author, please save me! Thank you so much!
