Sole Proprietor to register on Shopee

Hi po, asking for advice lng. Gusto ko po na mag open a Shopee store, kaso i don't have thr BIR related documents. But i do have my TIN number.

Question ko lng, do i still need to register my business through government affiliated agencies (i.e., BIR, DTI) just to open a shopee store? Can't i just open the store with my TIN only?

i would appreciate sa input nyo po or experiences. sa mga shopee store owners or tax accountants or some field related dito.🙏
