I have no words
More misadventures from my shop, and if you've followed my posts in the past, this almost seems par for the course.
That canvas was Fusion 4000'd to a black foamboard and we heated it back up to peel it off so that we can reframe it. Our "lead frame designer" thinks it's gonna be "so cool" to somehow incorporate chicken wire from the hardware store into a TPK acrylic box like the one you see there. Because "haha it's a chicken, get it?"
She kept going around the gallery all day long saying to everybody "don't you think this'll look so cool?" and we're all just like "uh-huh.... yeah..." since none of us actually have the nerves to tell her how insane this actually is.
As usual, I'm gonna be the one that has to do it and I'm just told to vaguely "figure it out". And if it's not in some way the lead frame designer likes (which I have absolutely no way of knowing what she does or doesn't like until I do it and she arbitrarily decries some uncontrollable flaw), I'm totally screwed.
This isn't art class. This is a frame shop. I don't have time to be experimenting with such silliness like this when I'm always drowning in work.
