Is my PC worth upgrading CPU or should I save for a new PC entirely?
Hi, I have a ~7 year old PC (bought new in 2019), and the CPU struggles immensely to run modded Minecraft, which is mainly what I play. I have purchased upgraded RAM in the past which helped a bit and have done various tweaks to computer and game settings, but I cannot have more than one program open when playing modded Minecaft as the CPU overloads, gets extremely hot, and makes the entire computer stutter. I am extremely unfamiliar with PC building and I'm unsure if this would require only a CPU replacement, or if the computer is just too old all around and it's better to get a completely new one, which isn't super ideal for me right now, which is why I'm looking to see if only replacing some parts is possible. Here are the specs. Again, not tech proficient by any means so please be kind to me if my question is stupid, lol. Thanks in advance.
